Directions and how to get here

By Car

Situated in the centre of the village of Birnam, Dunkeld, the Birnam Guest House is easy to find.  From Perth take the A9 north towards Inverness. Turn off the A9 about 12 miles north of Perth, where you see the sign for Birnam and Dunkeld. Follow the road into the centre of the village and we are 100yds past the post office and church, opposite the new Birnam Institute theatre and Beartrix Potter exhibition. We are also two doors from the local Spar shop.

By Train

The mainline train between Perth and Inverness operates to Birnam and Dunkeld.  Birnam Guest House is only 200metres away from the station and on arrival at the station all you need to do is locate the underpass to the left of the exit from the station and walk downhill to the main road.  The Birnam Guest House is adjacent ot the Spar shop.  We can also arrange a pick up of your bags if you give us prior notice.  Train timetables can be found on the web at nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/

By bus
